Morgan Children ___________________
The children of Penry and Elizabeth were numerous. It is believed that they had 22 or 23 children and although it is known that there were three sets of twins, it is possible that there may have been five. Of the children that are known their names, date and year of their birth if known are below.
Jemima or Minnie 1883 Frances or Fanny February 2, 1885 Elizabeth 1887 Penry April 25, 1888 Phillip 1891 Catherine or Kate 1892 Ernest 1894 Ellen or Nell 1895 Maud 1897 Arthur November 24, 1899 Edith 1898 John 1901 Ethel September 28, 1902 Henry Stephen 1904 George June 17, 1906 James June 17, 1906 There may also be a Thomas.
Henry died aged 7 months and was buried on February 25, 1905 at the Holy Trinity Church at Pontnewydd.
James died aged 13 months and was buried in the same grave with his brother Henry on July 25, 1907.
There were two further burials of the Pearson children in this grave (see photo on Graves page)
